How Keratin Extension Fitting Works
A professional keratin extension fitting involves attaching individual, pre-tipped hair strands to small sections of your natural hair using a specialized low-heat or ultrasonic bonding tool. Each bond is hand-molded into a tiny, rounded seal roughly the size of a grain of rice.
Fittings are performed by Maria Mirabela Bălan, a CPD Accredited specialist. Maria places each bond approximately 1 to 1.5 cm away from the scalp, allowing complete natural hair movement without tension, pulling, or headaches.

You send photos of your current hair in natural light. We assess your density, existing layers, and confirm whether keratin bonds are suitable for your goals.
Colour Matching & Strand Planning
We select precise hair shades to match your root, mid-length, and tip tones. We calculate the exact quantity of strands needed (from targeted volume to a glamorous full transformation).
Hair Preparation
Your natural hair must be freshly washed with a clarifying, residue-free shampoo and 100% dry. No conditioner, oils, or silicone-based styling products should be on the roots to ensure maximum bond adhesion.
Strand-by-Strand Installation
Maria applies each bond in neat, clean brickwork rows, leaving a clean perimeter around your hairline so your extensions remain completely hidden when you wear your hair up.
Blending & Finishing Style
Once all bonds are secured, the hair is styled and softly blended into your natural cut, ensuring a cohesive cascade of volume and movement.

The First 48 Hours
Do not wash or expose your bonds to high moisture for the first 48 hours while the keratin bonds fully cure and set.
Brushing Technique
Use an extension loop brush or soft bristle brush. Hold your hair at the roots with one hand while gently brushing from ends upwards.
Washing & Conditioning
Always use sulfate-free shampoo. Apply conditioner and oils strictly to mid-lengths and ends—never directly onto keratin bonds.
Sleeping Routine
Never sleep with wet hair. Tie your hair into a loose low braid or ponytail before bed to prevent tangling.
